Welcome to the Patterson Joint Unified School District
Patterson Joint Unified School District (PJUSD) serves approximately 6,000 students from a diverse set of backgrounds and heritages.
The district consists of one early childhood school (West Valley PreK/TK), five elementary schools (Apricot Valley, Grayson, Las Palmas, Northmead, and Walnut Grove), one middle school (Creekside), one comprehensive high school (Patterson High), two alternative schools (Del Puerto High School and Open Valley Independent School), and one Adult Transition School (Rising Sun).
Guided by its Strategic Plan, the PJUSD Promise, the district focuses on academic excellence, students and staff safety and wellness, facilities and resources, communication and collaboration, and employee success and leadership development. These focus areas are the driving force behind the district's actions as it strives to achieve its purpose of "unlocking potential - empowering lives." This purpose is fulfilled through the core values of integrity, perseverance, inclusivity, innovation, and excellence.
