Dear PJUSD Community,
Our district held the second school naming committee meeting. After a brief recap of our last meeting, our School Naming Committee reviewed all the submissions provided by our community. The committee members then brainstormed in revolving sessions to narrow down more than 70 suggested names to a shortlist of five.
Now, we ask for our community’s participation once again to help us narrow down these choices so we can provide a final recommendation to our School Board of Trustees on October 7th. Please use the attached survey to vote for your favorite names. We are proud to announce that the shortlist includes the following options:
- Almond Blossom Elementary (ABE)
- Orchard Blossom Elementary (OBE)
- Ward Elementary (WE)
- Canyon View Elementary (CVE)
- Golden Hills Elementary (GHE)
We are excited to receive your feedback once again. The survey will be available starting now on our district's School Construction page on our website and will close at 4:30 PM on Friday, September 13th. We value your input and look forward to reviewing the results at our next Ad Hoc committee meeting in a few weeks.
