Summer 2026
Dear PJUSD Parents, Students, and Staff,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I hope you had a restful and enjoyable summer and are ready for another exciting year of learning, growth, and opportunity. Whether you are joining Patterson Joint Unified School District for the first time or returning to our schools, we are thrilled to welcome you back.
The start of a new school year is always filled with optimism and the promise of new beginnings. Throughout the summer, our dedicated staff worked diligently to prepare for the return of our students. From enhancing our facilities and technology infrastructure to hiring outstanding staff members and engaging in meaningful professional development, we have been focused on ensuring that every school is ready to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
As we begin this school year, our Strategic Plan continues to serve as the foundation for our work. It guides our efforts to align resources, strengthen educational opportunities, and make thoughtful, data-informed decisions that support student success. Through our shared commitment to excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement, we remain focused on meeting the needs of every student while preparing them for success in college, career, and life.
I would also like to invite all of our families to join us for our annual Back-to-School Block Party on Saturday, August 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Patterson Community Stadium. This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our schools, staff, community partners, and one another as we kick off the new school year. We are also excited to welcome our students back to campus when classes begin on Thursday, August 7.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with families and the community. Achieving excellence requires collaboration, and we encourage you to stay engaged in your child's education. Together, we can make this school year rewarding, successful, and filled with opportunities for growth and achievement.
