Download the ParentSquare App

The ParentSquare app is available in both iOS or Android stores. Downloading the mobile app is the easiest way to receive all Posts, Events, Sign Up Requests, Photos and Files.

Activate Your Account

Your Child(ren)'s school has your email and/or phone number in their records and they will initiate the setup process with you. They will send you an invitation email and/or text with a link to activate your ParentSquare account.

1. From your email, click the button, Activate your account. Email invitation example:

3. Register by entering your Email or Phone Number, then click Get Started.

Use Your Google or Microsoft Account to Sign In to ParentSquare (optional)

1. Click the button Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft.

2. Use your sign in credentials and password that you use for Google or Microsoft.

Switching Schools/Districts

Families with children at multiple schools can change which school they view. Staff members that work at multiple school sites and/or have children at another site may also switch schools.

Staff that are associated with the school's district level may choose to view the district feed. Note: most staff do not have a district-level association.

Using a Web Browser

1. From Home, click Switch School in the top left and choose the desired school site.

2. If you are a staff member who sees the district name in the top left, click the district name to go to the district level.

Using the ParentSquare Mobile App

1. Tap the school name at the top to see other schools, and choose the desired school site.

Optional Method to Switch Schools on the App

1. Tap the triple bar menu in top left.

2. Select Schools for a school site, or Districts for a district site.

3. Select the name of the school or district.

Merge Accounts (Unable to View Child Account/School/Staff is also a Parent)

Users should be able to see all of their children and schools in one ParentSquare account.

Examples include:

I am a parent, and I do not see any/all of my children in the same districts in my account when I login.
I am a district staff member, and I do not see my children in my account when I login.
I am a staff/parent in one district, and I do not see any/all of my children from another district in my account when I login.
I am a staff/parent in one district, and I do not see any/all of my children from another district in my account when I login.

If you are missing a child/school, it may be because:

You have more than one ParentSquare account with different contact information.
Your contact information is inconsistent across the schools' student information systems.

For example, the screenshots below show a parent with an email at one school and a phone number at another. As a result, they have two accounts:

PARENTS: To add a child or school,

You must contact your school(s) directly to update your contact information. Ensure you have the same email and phone number on file for all children and all schools.
Contact data is managed, updated and controlled by your school (or district), ParentSquare syncs with this information but cannot edit or change it.

We sync with the school databases nightly. The day after the change is made at your school, you should be able to log out and log back in to ParentSquare to see your updated information.

Staff Members Who Are Also Parents

As a staff member and a parent, you will be able to have both your staff contacts and your parent contacts linked tot he same account.

If you have a district-issued staff email on your staff record and a personal email address on your parent record, multiple accounts may have been created for you.

If you already have the same phone listed on your staff and parent accounts, your accounts can be easily linked. The accounts will merge automatically once you complete the verification process and confirm both accounts. After this, both emails will be listed on your account, but you will be required to use your staff email to log in.
If you already have separate registered accounts under different emails/phones, you can use the Combine Account option to merge them together.

Too Many Posts? Set Email, Text and App Notifications to Daily Digest

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Are you overwhelmed with the number of emails, texts and app notifications you are getting from ParentSquare? Set your notifications to Digest and you will receive one email and/or one text and/or one app notification providing access to all ParentSquare information at the end of the day. Note: If you receive notifications by email, you'll receive a daily digest email from your district and schools separately if there are posts that day.

Set Your Notification Method in a Web Browser

1. Go to www.parentsquare.com and log in.

2. Click the drop-down arrow next to your name in the upper right.

3. Select My Account.

Language Settings

ParentSquare allows you to change your language setting so that you can receive posts in your preferred language. Note: student language (if StudentSquare enabled) is always set to English and cannot be changed.

Using a Website Browser

1. From Home, click the down arrow next to your name, in the upper right.

2. Select My Account.

3. Click on Language Settings in the left hand sidebar.

4. Select your preferred language from the drop down menu and click Save.

Change Menus to Spanish

To change the application menus to Spanish, Click Espanol in the top menu bar. (To change back, click Englas.) Note: Spanish and English are the only languages available for the application menus.
